A Message for The Nationals

I’ve always been a Nationals voter
Cause I live in the countery.

 

But I started to look at you jokers –

And found: you don’t look out for me!

You look after the Big Farmer –
The big agri-business blokes.
And you look after the mining companies,
But not us little folks.

You look after the big developers,
Who just want to make a buck.
You’re not interested in us small folks –
It makes me want to chuck.

You’re not listening to the farmers,
Who say that life can be pretty grim.
You’re not listening to the farmers,
Who know there’s this climate change thing.

We are the ones that will suffer:
Less rain, more dust, more floods.
And I still wake in the night and shudder
When I remember those bushfires…Crud.

So just start looking after the Climate,
For the farmers, small business too.
Start looking after Regional Australians.
OR WE WONT VOTE FOR YOU!
