About Climate Songs

While l was sitting around a campfire or walking through the bush, (that I love and want to protect from the ravages of climate change) some of the climate poems turned themselves into songs.

As you can hear if you click on the first link, one of my friends kindly produced A Message for the Nationals on GarageBand. I am hoping someone else will also take up this catchy song, record a better version, and perform it at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, which is held every year, in the currently Nationals electorate of New England, NSW.

Talking about our Climate cries out for a rap style production with a persistent percussion beat. I haven’t recorded this one yet, but I invite you to give it a go.

I have just added Don’t forget the Fires.  Just me and my friend on GarageBand, but I hope you like it. Or have a go at singing it yourself. I just hope it gets the message across that we can’t have more gas and coal because these are feeding the multi-headed monster that is climate change.

Why don’t you have a go at turning a poem into a song.

Sing for yourself!
